An early morning on Craigville Beach for a sunrise session. The perfect start to this adorable family’s trip to the Cape, if you ask me! This soon-to-be family of five traded the busy streets of NYC for sandy toes and the sound of the ocean. Cape Cod looks pretty good on them, don’t you think?! Yes, indeed.

Mom was in search of that dreamy glow from the sun for her photos, and of course I suggested a sunrise session! In my opinion, the West Coast of Florida (where I’m from) has the most glorious sunset light. Here on the Cape, the light is pure magic first thing in the morning.

This was my first session at Craigville Beach, but it definitely won’t be my last! I’m in love with how well it photographs!! FUN FACT: I participated in a Polar Plunge here a few winters ago, and HOLY COLD WATER! My sweet friend didn’t think I would actually go in, so she thought she was doing me a favor by giving me a little encouragement. And by little, I mean she threw me over her shoulder and ran in! I’m pretty sure I screamed the whole time, LOL!

Is there anything sweeter than a growing family?! Kids as cute as these two munchkins, maybe?! Their adorable outfits and their “playing hard to get” attitude. I can’t handle it!

Maternity sessions may just be my favorite to photograph, so I was thrilled to be able to snap a few photos of mom and dad showing the bump a little love. I wonder what they are having! My vote is girl! Whatever the gender, this little baby sure is going to be loved.
