Meet Ashley

my story

I am originally from the Sunshine State; born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL. I moved to the Cape about 7 years ago, and here is where I met my husband, Matt. We met online if you can believe it! He was a wildland firefighter working for the National Seashore in Wellfleet, and I was living in Bourne (on the other side of the bridge which I was later informed is NOT Cape Cod). Neither of us really knew anyone, which is what led to us finding each other on He picked me up for our first date- a huge mistake as far as my grandmother is concerned seeing as we hadn't officially met yet and I was living alone (she instilled the legend of Ted Bundy into all of us)- met my Dalmatian, Charlie, and gave me the biggest hug ever. I fell in love right then and there! We said "I DO" at the most adorable resort in Kennebunkport, ME called The Nonantum, became part of the Mashpee Fire Department family, purchased and renovated (well, still renovating our current home) two homes, and brought our daughter, Mackenzie, into the world. It's been a beautiful life so far with so much more to look forward to!

my vision

After leaving my job as a therapeutic case worker and becoming a stay-at-home mom, I wanted a chance to continue to work with people in a positive and fun way, and to provide those in my community with beautiful portraits at an affordable price. I have always loved people- meeting them, watching them interact with each other and the world around them, and being inspired by them. Now, I'm connecting with them in a whole new way and I'm loving them even more.
Moving away from Florida, the only home and culture I've ever known, opened my eyes to all of the beauty that surrounds us in this world. It is such a gift to be able to capture it and transform it into precious memories. It has also been such a gift meeting new people and being part of their story. I love all of the relationships that I've built since starting my business, and what I love even more is how many of them have turned into friendships. Community is definitely the main goal when it comes to my clients and my work.

a thing you will see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.
