Cape Cod Summer Beach Engagement Session: Alie and Paul
Is there a more perfect combination than summer love and beach sunsets?! I spent the most incredible night with Alie and Paul celebrating their engagement. We danced in the tall grass, splashed along the shore, and reveled in the beauty of the summer sky as it cast its radiant glow. I could have stayed on the beach with these two all night just clicking away on my shutter; their natural, easy way of loving one another is something you just don’t want to look away from. What a blessing to be able to capture this Cape Cod summer beach engagement session for such a sweet couple.
The Proposal
In addition to photographing Alie and Paul’s engagement session, I had the privilege of capturing Paul’s proposal to Alie earlier this summer!
Every detail went into the planning and set up to ensure it was as perfect as possible. A blanket was spread out with photos of Alie and Paul, a bouquet of beautiful flowers, and a bottle of champagne to toast the start of their next chapter together. All of this took place down the road from Alie’s family home. It’s a spot overlooking the harbor. The two enjoy walks down there to admire the view.
I found the perfect hiding spot and waited for the moment to unfold. Seeing Alie’s reaction was so beautiful. Shock, surprise, and pure happiness. That raw emotion encircled us all. I ended up so wrapped up in the moment that I lost track of why I was actually there in the first place!

And just like that, I’m lost in the magic of this night all over again. Wishing Alie and Paul everything and more as they continue to share their life and love.
