I'm a Florida girl at heart, but fell in love here on Cape Cod and have been embracing New England life ever since. It's been such a blessing building a life and chasing my dreams with my husband, our two little girls, and our pups.
I'm Ashley!
July is always an unbelievably busy month for me. It’s the last day of the month, and I am still reeling from all of the work/mom balance. Oh man, summer with kids is not for the faint of heart. I am also still reeling from Christopher and Julia’s beautiful Cape Cod wedding at The Club at New Seabury. What. A. Day! We enjoyed the getting ready process and first look at Julia’s parents’ home, followed by a Catholic service at Our Lady of Victory Parish in Centerville. This day was the perfect combination of sweet and fun, and I am just tickled pink that my job is to serve in such an amazing way.
My first time photographing at The Club at New Seabury, and I am obsessed! This incredible venue definitely delivers for its couples. From the golf cart adventure experience to take portraits at the beach, to the complete ballroom transformation- it’s gonna be a 10 for me, dawg.
You aren’t going to believe me when I tell you that it rained on this wedding day. And I mean, RAINED. Traveling to each location? Rain. During the church ceremony? Rain. But as luck would have it, I came prepared with umbrellas. As a result, outdoor portraits still took place! Honestly though, each location photographed so beautifully inside and out, that even if we did need to do all photos inside I would have considered it a win.
The plan for portraits was going to be to use the clear umbrellas I brought. They would have added a fun element to the storytelling of the day, while also serving practically and aesthetically. Thankfully, we didn’t need to use them. I always have a plan in place, just in case. To all of my rainy day brides, I’ve got you!
Christopher and Julia are a couple you just can’t take your eyes off of. The way they look at one another melts your heart right on the spot. It’s the sweetest. They genuinely love being together and spending time with their family and friends. Their wedding day was pretty stress-free and relaxed from a photography standpoint because they just wanted it captured as it unfolded. My goal throughout the day was to give them a gallery they could look back on and describe in one word: enjoyment. These two made it very easy.
Christopher and Julia, oh how I loved your sweet wedding day! Thank you for trusting my friend’s referral and choosing me to help document the official start of your happily ever after.
