Spring Mommy and Me Session at Spohr Gardens

Spohr Gardens has become a favorite location for photos, especially in the spring. This particular spot in the gardens, that I love so much, doesn’t have a lot of blooms this time of year, but the light coming through the trees at mid-day is just stunning! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Emma and little Charleigh for a year now. I absolutely love this family, and I’m so blessed I get to be the one who documents their favorite moments. The first time I photographed Charleigh, she was only about six months. And, oh what a cute little mean mug she had! Catching a smile is definitely challenging- she makes me work for it that’s for sure. It’s funny because she really loves the camera, she just doesn’t want to cheese! That’s okay, Charleigh. The camera, and I, still love you and think you’re adorable.

How cute are their outfits, by the way?! I had a vision with this session, and Emma nailed it with these dresses, and that hat! I love dresses for mommy and me sessions. They add a beautiful softness to the images. Also, they are perfect for twirling! Little Charleigh wasn’t quite ready to twirl on her own yet, but I’m ready for next year’s session with these two. Start practicing your twirls, ladies!
