Cape Cod Wedding at the Ocean Edge Resort | Brewster, MA
August at the Ocean Edge Resort was lively, as it should be. At the height of summer on the Cape there is so much to enjoy! Two things I know that draw locals and out-of-towners to this part of the Cape are the wide, wondrous strip of beach and the incredible sunsets. While I did bask in the glow of the cotton candy sunset, my main reason for visiting the resort was to celebrate the Harmons! And what a perfect Cape Cod wedding it was!
The Wedding Day
Jennine and Stephen (though I’m betting mostly Jennine) planned their special day down to every little detail. Sky blue accents paired with luscious white florals, and adorable nods to the towns on Cape. One detail I loved more than anything (yes, even the whales and fish that adorned the back of the menu cards and their invitation suite) was that the couple made sure the day focused on their love for one another. Jennine and Stephen read their vows privately to one another, and also shared a private first dance (which they choreographed themselves!) after the first look. I always encourage my couples to set aside time to really savor the meaning of their wedding day, and I’m so glad it was a priority for the Harmons.
I fell in love with Jennine the moment she told me how much she loved my work and had to have me as her photographer. To find a client who loves you for your work and who you are behind the lens, and I mean REALLY LOVES, is a blessing. Jennine took care of me throughout her wedding day, and honestly made me feel like a superstar and a priority. She’s an incredibly kind and caring, fun-loving, and VERY detail oriented (which is clutch to a wedding photographer) soul. Stephen is without a doubt her perfect complement. He’s kind and easy-going, with just the right amount of spunk to match Jennine. Together they are unstoppable, and truly a couple you can’t help but be obsessed with. I still can’t believe I was lucky enough to be chosen as their dream photographer.

As you can see, this wedding day was filled with love, laughter, incredible people, and so much fun!
