The Russell’s. One of my favorite families! This bunch has lived in Sandwich for forever, so a session at the boardwalk was a no brainer! I love coming to this spot; it’s peaceful. And I love the look of the marsh when it’s bathed in golden summer sunlight. What’s really neat, too, is that names are etched into the planks of the boardwalk. It gives you the feeling that you’re making memories alongside those that wanted to leave a little piece of themselves here. My connection to the Russell family is through my friend Erin. We met at a job interview and bonded over our ties to the fire department. Knowing Erin has truly helped me find my place here on the Cape, and I’m so grateful for her. I never knew my boss could also become one of my good friends and greatest supporters! But once you meet her family, you understand. They’re pretty amazing.

Sights of Sandwich

Sandwich is an adorable town on Cape Cod filled with history, beautiful sights, and quaint boutique shops and restaurants. Stroll through Heritage Gardens, dine at the Dan’l Webster Inn or the Belfry Inn and Bistro, and around Christmas and New Years, drive through town and enjoy all of the brightly lit giants. With so much to do and see, it’s an absolute must visit!
