I'm a Florida girl at heart, but fell in love here on Cape Cod and have been embracing New England life ever since. It's been such a blessing building a life and chasing my dreams with my husband, our two little girls, and our pups.
I'm Ashley!
As the leaves turn golden and the air grows crisp, Plymouth, Massachusetts becomes a dreamlike setting for a fall wedding. Nestled on the South Shore, this historic coastal town offers a breathtaking blend of ocean views, colonial charm, and vibrant autumn foliage-making it an unforgettable place to say “I do.”
This October, Katie and Mike chose the Plymouth Yacht Club as the perfect spot to tie the knot. With its stunning harbor views and cozy, nautical elegance, it was the ideal backdrop for a wedding that was both intimate and timeless. The guest list was intentionally small-just close friends and dear friends-which made the day feel personal, heartfelt, and deeply meaningful.
October is when Plymouth truly shines. The summer crowds have thinned, but the weather remains pleasant, with that perfect hint of sweater-weather chill. Trees explode in shades of amber, rust, and crimson, creating a natural backdrop that looks straight out of a painting. Add in the salty sea breeze and the gentle lull of waves, and you’ve got a setting that’s both romantic and grounding.
At the Plymouth Yacht Club, Katie and Mike exchanged vows overlooking the water, surrounded by fall colors and the quiet hum of sailboats in the harbor. It was quintessential New England-elegant yet unpretentious.
October weddings practically beg for cozy, thoughtful details, and this one delivered.
With a smaller guest list, every part of the day felt intentional. Laughter flowed easily, toasts were genuine and emotional, and everyone present shared a meaningful connection with Katie and Mike. It wasn’t about grandeur-it was about being fully present, celebrating love, and savoring the beauty of a perfect fall day in Plymouth.
The Plymouth Yacht Club offered a sense of ease and charm that made the whole experience feel like a weekend getaway-peaceful, beautiful, and full of heart.
There’s something truly magical about a small October Wedding in Plymouth, MA. When you combine the natural beauty of autumn with the salty air of the harbor and an intimate gathering of loved ones, you get a wedding that doesn’t just look beautiful-it feels beautiful. Katie and Mike’s wedding day was a perfect example of how less really can be more: more connection, more love, and more unforgettable memories.
Katie and Mike, thank you both so very much for allowing me to take part in such a special day in your love story. Helping you document each moment was the perfect way to end my wedding season. Wishing you both nothing but love and happiness.
