I'm a Florida girl at heart, but fell in love here on Cape Cod and have been embracing New England life ever since. It's been such a blessing building a life and chasing my dreams with my husband, our two little girls, and our pups.
I'm Ashley!

After a long off-season, it’s officially the start of weddings on the Cape! Summer is here, and this year we WILL have sun! Huzzah! Kristin and Chris’s bright and sunny June 15th wedding at the Lighthouse Inn proved that the sun will shine it’s absolute brightest this summer season!
The forecast called for rain. I wished for at least a few clouds; our groom squints when the sun is out. Thankfully, I prepared for the weather with multiple umbrellas. If you know, then you know that when you are prepared it almost always keeps the inclement weather at bay. As luck would have it, not a cloud appeared! Poor Chris. That sun. Similarly, he prepared as well with a brand new pair of stylish sunglasses! I can’t wait for you to see just how beautiful our Cape Cod summers are with Kristin and Chris’s bright and sunny June wedding at the Lighthouse Inn in Dennis, MA.
I am thrilled to be experiencing some wedding venues I’ve never been to! The Lighthouse Inn in Dennis, MA is quietly tucked away on the ocean side of the Cape. Rock jetties stretch out off of the beach, allowing you to become one with the salty, ocean breeze. The sun sets strong and beautifully to the north, giving guests the best of bold worlds in terms of colors of the sky; cotton candy blues and purples to the south, and vibrant oranges and yellows from the sun to the north. It’s what makes the Cape so desirable, I think. If you’re going to experience a cloudless, sunny day, this is the place to be. The colors of the sky and the ocean are mesmerizing. Paired with the white, sandy dunes and the lush Rugosa Rose bushes? Exquisite. This summer paradise is full of all the natural Cape Cod charm one could ask for.
Kristin and Chris are a strong couple who prioritize their commitment to one another. As much as they enjoyed celebrating with their family and friends, the times treasured most on their wedding day seemed the ones spent with just each other. We started the day with a first look and private vows. I encourage this for many reasons, but mostly so that my couples have special time together. It’s so important to remember that a wedding is not merely a party, rather the joining of two souls. I love that Kristin and Chris set aside time throughout the day to acknowledge that.
Cheers to the freaking Godinos!!
