Caroline and Jack’s October Wedding at the Popponesset Inn

The Popponesset Inn is a beautiful little spot for a Cape Cod wedding. Located in the heart of New Seabury in Mashpee, MA, it’s quintessential Cape Cod. It’s quaint, it’s charming, and the perfect combination of classy and fun. The breathtaking views of the beach definitely draw you in, but you stay because it feels like a home away from home. And I know the Cape is most desired during the summer months, but it’s just as incredible in the fall. Caroline and Jack’s October wedding at the Popponesset Inn is proof of that.

I feel like I mention this all of the time, but my favorite little detail of Cape Cod in the fall and winter months is the color of the sky. It’s a soft blue compared to the bright blue of summer. In my opinion, it’s just so dreamy. And in the case of Caroline and Jack’s wedding day, it complimented the blues in their florals beautifully.

Dancing into Forever

I have so many favorite moments from all of my weddings, but there is usually one favorite moment from each day that grabs hold of me. For Caroline and Jack’s wedding, my favorite moment was hands down their first dance. From the captivating choice of song to the lifts and twirls, it certainly made a statement. I think what I love most about witnessing that powerful moment is that I was able to truly feel their love for one another. It was as if they forgot all of us were there and it was just them. And while it was a choreographed and rehearsed number, it was also completely raw. Ahh I have chills all over again! Thank you for putting your heart and passion out on the dance floor for all of us to see and feel, Caroline and Jack. So much love for you both.
