Saturday June 5th kicked off wedding season for me! And what an incredible day it was! Jennifer and Robert put together a super fun wedding day, complete with s’mores, lawn games, sparklers, great music, and New England style food. The beautiful decor and fun-filled aesthetic made for the perfect mix of casual elegance. Thank you Jennifer and Robert for the honor of capturing your wedding at Kempenaar’s Clambake Club!

Jennifer and Robert’s ceremony was extra special, since their little boy got to be part of it! He may not have wanted to walk down the aisle or smile for any photos, but he was still so stinking cute! How sweet to be able to share this moment as a family. Fun fact: I was actually in my parents’ wedding! I love that I was part of my parents’ wedding day, and I’m sure little Jackson will grow up loving it too.

My favorite thing about Kempenaar’s? The most stunning willow trees lined the property of the venue. It was a dream to be able to photograph them! You can bet I stuck Jennifer and Robert right near each one of those beauties for all of their portraits. Good thing Jennifer loved them too!

Being photographed can become overwhelming by the end of the wedding day, especially if all you want to do is enjoy the night with family and friends. That being said, you’ll want as many portraits as newlyweds as possible. Golden hour portraits are a must! Plus, they make your photographer super happy!
