I’m so excited to share their dreamy sunset family session with you!
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family a few times now, and they are just the sweetest! Emma has such a love for beautiful photos, and I’m so honored to be the one who gets to help her fill her home with so many memories.
We decided to venture to Cotuit, MA for the shoot. This quaint Cape town is full of beautiful sunset glow that peeks through the trees, resulting in the most gorgeous light; perfect for a dreamy sunset family session, indeed. It’s mostly a residential town, but I highly recommend taking a drive or enjoying a stroll; it’s one of my favorite areas to explore! Matt and I frequent the area because we love The Kettle Ho . Great food and a great local vibe- a must visit! In the summer you should also visit Lowell Park for a Cape Cod Summer League baseball game! I love catching a game because I feel like I’m living in a scene the movie Summer Catch!
How about these little cuties!? Big sister Savannah is such a hoot. On the walk to this field we talked all about our favorite snacks and our plans for a sleepover! She even volunteered to make sure I was using my camera correctly, and informed me that she would let me know if it was facing the wrong way. I mean, it could happen. Who knows, I may have an assistant with me at future sessions! Charleigh was playing hard to get, per usual. Though, I do love all of the candids I was able to capture of her enjoying the weeds.
I love incorporating FUN into my sessions. To do that, I encourage walking together or playing and interacting with one another. The results are always genuine and authentic.
